The tension was relieved temporarily by the receipt of a wireless messa-ge stating that all on, board the Titanic were saved. Later, however, the Carpathia informed the Olympic of the truth, and the latter ship resumed her voyage. The Olympic is shipping sufficient collapsible boats for all aboaa'd. Tho Allan liner Virginian reports that she received a wireless message from the Cape Race station, notifying the Titanic's danger, at twenty minutes to one o'clock on Monday morning. She was then 178 miles distant. At twenty minutes past one the Titanic reported by wireless tha.t she was sinking, and her messages ceased abruptly at 1.47.
