The money wae chiefly subscribed to 'the funds opened 1 by newspapers in New Zealand. The Christchurch Prous contribution (Of £400 X for the "cottl strike relief fund has been apportioned as follows :—Aberdare Valley, £50,' Audley (Staffordshire), £35; Chester-le-Street (Durham), £50 5 Aberayron (Glamorganshire), £36; East wood (Nottinghamshire), £30; Limerick, £100; Swansea, £100.
