LONDON BANK OF AUSTRALIA. The London Bank of Australia balancesheet shows transferable deposits, £802,159; other deposits, £4,862,202; cash investments, 32,233,911; bilk, £4,374,023. [ GRAIN AND FLOUR. The wheat markets are quiet but fairly steady at a alight reduction. Five Aus-^ tralian cargoes have been sold at from 39s 3d to 40s per quarter. Parcels arrived are quoted at 40s to 40s 3d, and AprilMay shipment at 38s 4id. There ib a quiet trade in spot wheat at 425. . Flour. — Market quiet. Australian patent brands are quoted at 27s 6d per sack ex store, and 26s c.i.f. The visible supply of American wheat and flour east of the Rock Mountains is estimated by "Bradstreet's" at the equivalent in wheat of 106,496,000 bushels, compared with 109,210,000 bushels a woek ago. Oats are easier, La Plata April-May shipments bringing 18s 6d per quarter. Beans are firm at 37s 6d to 395, and peas are steady at 39s to' 39s 6d for fine quality New Zealand, average lots making 366 6d to 38s 6d. COLONIAL AND OTHER PRODUCE. Butter.— The batter market is lifeless. There are no buyers. 'Danish is quoted at 124s to 127 a per cni; choicest Australian 110s to 112s, and secondary 104s to 108 a; New Zealand salted 112s to 1148. unsalted 116s. The market closed with a downward tendency. Cheese. — The cheese market is dull. Nbw Zealand ib quoted at 723 per cwt. Cargoes havo arrived by the Rotorua, Drayton Grange, and Indralema. Tallow. — At tho tallow sales 1648 casks were offered and 1289 sold. Fine mutton made 36s 6d per owt, medium 33s 6d ; fine beef, 35s 6d, medium &s. Sugar. -German beet sugar, 88 per cent, net titre, is 4d lower at 13s 8d per owt; first marks granulated, 4d lower at 16s Bd. BRADFORD TOPS. . The Bradford wool martcet is firm.
