[UI TBLKGKAPH— PHESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRIBTCHURCH, 17th April. At Addington live stock market thorp was a. large entry -of stock, especially of all classes of sheep, and a good attendance.. There was a very large entry of store sheep, principally ewet>. Tho rango ot prices was: Small two-tooth ewes, 13s; others, to 16s; two and four tooth, 14s to 15s 6d ; four, six, and eight tooth, 13s to 16s 2d ; sound-rhouth, 10s 6d to 13s od ; best rape lambs, 12s 6d to 13s 3d; good, K3b to 11s; fair, 9s to 9s 6d; halfbred station wethers, lambs, 8s 6d to 9s; culls, 5s to 7s sd; low-conditioned two-tooth wethers, 12s 6d ; forward four and bix tooths, to 16s 3d. There was a very large entry of fat lambs of varied weight and condition, there being some large and prime lines offered, and other lots required more finish. Tege made 17s 3d to 19s sd ; a few extra, to 20s; and ordinary freezers and butchers' lambs, 12s to 17s. There was a fnirly larjje yarding of fat sheep, the larger portion being eivea. The range of prices was: Prime wethers, 18s ,to 225: others, l6e 6d to 17u 9d; merino wethers, 8s Id to 10s lOd; prime en-en, ISs to 19s 4-d , others, 9s to 12s bd. Tho entr.j? trf fat cattle totalled 248, and was composed chiefly of cows and heifers, with a few pens of steers. Stoprs made £8 7s 6d to £12; extra, £12 15s to £16; heifeTs, *£6 to £8 ss ; extra to £9 ss ; and cows, £5 12d 6d to £8 10s, and extra [ to £10 15s. An average yarding of veal calves made 61s to 665. There was a moderate yarding of store cattle, mostly old cows, and thpre wai not much demand shown. Fifteen to eighteeii-months sorts made £3 to £3 ss; two-year steers, £4 5b 6d ; two-year heifers, £4; three-year steers (poor), ±!5 6s to £5 7» 6d ; und dry cow*, 20(> to £2 17a 6d. There waft < & fairly large yarding of

dairy cows, including uoino good sorts, and they sold well. Prices ranged from £5 "10s to £10, and a number ci good sorts from £11 to £13. There was tt large entry of good qualhy. Fat pigs and all classes met with a good sale. Choppers made £3 to £5 10s; heavy bucouers. 60s to 73*: lighter, 50s to 57s 6d (equill to s£d per lb); large porkors, -38s to 50s ; smaller, 33s to '37» (equal to 6d per lb). Stores, except weaners, also told well, largo sorts making 286 to 365; smaller, 16s to 235; and weanere, 6s to 12s.
