TRADE OF EMPIRE COMMISSION
QUESTION IN HOUSE OF COMMONS By TelegrADh.— Preei Association.— Copyrigtit. LONDON, 11th April. In reply to a question by Sir Gilbert Parker, Conservative member for Gravesend. in the House of Commons, Mr. Lewis Harcourt, Secretary of State for the Colonies, said that no salaries would be paid to the members of the Trade of Empire Commission, but they would receive an allowance to cover expenseb *>f subsistence when abroad. Sir Gilbert Parker gave notice that a± the earliest opportunity he would call attention to the composition of the commission.
