TAXI-CAB ROBBERY.
MAN CONFESSES. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. NEW YORK, 10th April. A man named Edward Kinsman has, confessed to being responsible foi- a recent taxi-cab robbery and has implicated others. A portion of the stolen jewellery ha* been recovered. Kiusman was sentenced .to imprisonment for three years and a-half at Sing Sing Prison. [There have been several taxi-cab robberies in New York during the last few months. In one case two men jumped from a, taxi-cab and entered A jeweller's establishment in Maiden-lane, New York, beat the jeweller, and dashed off with a large quantity of booty, valued at £3000. In another, £5000 was stolen from a taxi-cab messenger.]
