Electors -willing to act on a commit- , tee to secure Mr. A. S. Bies'e election as Mayor of Wellington are invited to attend • a meeting in Godber'a rooms, Cuba-street, to-night. Mr. Bibs will Address the electors next week at the following placee : — Monday, Newtown library; Tuesday, Sydney-street Hall; {Wednesday, Druids' Hall, Tarauakiistreet. Mr. Charles Cathie, Mayor of Karori, who is seeking re-election, will open his campaign •in the Parochial ■Hall, Karon, ne^t Monday. Nominations in connection with all Wellington city and suburban Mayoral elections will cloae nt noon next Wednesday, 17lh April. --Mr. Bunny will address electors of Lower Hntt at St. James'e Hall on .Tuesday evening next. Mr. D. M'Laren, Labour candidate 'ior the city Mayoralty, will epeak at the coiner of Green-street, Newtown; and -will xmeak on Saturday evening on the principles of city government and the dangers of class control.
