DOOMED VESSEL.
STEAMER ON FIRE. REMARKABLE SPECTACLE. ALL THE CARGO LOST. By Telegraph. —Press Association.— Copyiigut. (Received April 11, 12.10 Jj.m.) NEW YORK, 10th April. The crew of the steamer Ontario, belonging to the Merchants and Miners' Transportation Company, which is in flames off the harbour, eecaped to the shore, leaving the vessel to her fate. The steamer lies on the rocks. The flames are pouring from her on all sides, and a heavy sea- is battering her to pieces. It ie a remarkable spectacle. All th© cargo has been lost.
