(Received April 11, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 10th April. | ■ A mass meeting of miners at Penallt, Monmouthshire, -passed a resolution expressing grave concern at Mr. V. Hartsj horn's prediction that there would be a renewed struggle in May or Juno next, and appealing to Mx\ Hartshorn to extricate them from the present chaos before indulging in prophecies* A meeting of miners at Barnsley, Yorkshire, demanded that Mr. Fred Hall (Labour M.P. for the Normanton Division of -Yorkshire., and measurer and agent for the Yorks Miners' Association) and Mr. John Wad^worth (Labour M.P. for tho Hallamshiro Division of Yorks and secretary of the Yorkshire Miners' Association) should resign their positions as miners' leaders. Five thousand men at Bolton and Weethoughton, Lancashire, have refused to resume work until the minimum wage is fixed. Strikers armed with pieces of timber attempted to prevent miners working at Golbornc, Lancashire. The police dispersed them after sharp baton charges. TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND MEN RESUME.
