CHRISTCHURCH, 10th April.,Although the weather was dull for the first day of 'the N*w Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club's Easter Meeting, there was a. very fair attendance of the public at Addington. A* a result of yesterday's heavy downpour of rain, the track was in a very bad stipes being muddy and heavy.
