MILK VENDORS FINED.
AUCKLAND, 10th April. As a sequel to the vigilance of the Health Department, three milk vendors were charged at the Police Court to-day with adulterating milk they were offering for sale. In one caae a fine of £5 and- costs was inflicted. In the second case the defendant had sold milk supplied to him by the previous defendant, and was fined 10s and 10s 6d costs. Ira the third case, which arose through carelessness, a fine of £1 and cuets was inflicted.
