The following »r© tlie cruehing returns for the Consolidated Goldfieldß of New Zealand group of properties (New Zealand Progress; Wealth of Nations, and Blaekwatar mines), for March: — Progress. — The mill ran nine days, crushed 1908 tons, yielding 511oz lldwt of bullion, valued £2116 10s 9d ; cyanided 1765 tons, yielding ,3210z 19dwl bullion, valued £751 4a '4d ; ebtimatted value of vsulpliureties, £323. Wealth of Nations. — Tho mill ran twenty days, crushed 1950 tons, yielding 5770z lOdwt ' bullion, valued £2358 Z& lid : cvanided 1374 tons, yielding 234«z 16dwt bullion, valued £636[ 17s lid ; estimated value of sulphuretted. £87. lilackwater. — Tho mill ran twelve and a-half days, ,ci;ush«d. 2566 tons, yielding 11350z 3dwt bullion, valued £4625 Is Id ; cyanided 1537 tone, yielding 2590z 2dwt bullion, valued £690 8s ; eatimakd value of sulphurettes. £212. WAIOTAHI. • The manager of the Waiotahi Gold Alining Company reports' for the week as follows : — "No 7 level : The drive east on the footwall dropper has been in hand: Tho reef has, however, been heaved to the right, and we shall now have to drive a short diatanco south to pick up the reef and get under tho winze sunk from No. 6 level. lOOOIt lovel : Owing to the Easter holidays and the starting of tho subsidiary crosscut, not a great deal of driving has been done in the mam face, the total distance now driven, in tho Waiotahi ground being 122 ft."
