Owing to the poor response to the newspapers Sportsman's and Sporting Life's appeals for subscriptions towards Ernest Barry's expenses in connection with his >-acG with R. Arnst for the sculling championship, a committee has been formed to endeavour to raise money by mean* of cards and boxes.
