Cheese. — The market, is quiet but firm, a small supply. Tho "average price fot the woek for finest New Zealand cheese per ewt is 74s 6d, English Cheddar 925. Hemp. — The market is quiet, small business doing. Spot: New Zealand goodfair grade, per ton, £21 10s; fair grade, £20; fair current Manila, £21 10s; forward shipment — New Zealand good-fair, per ton, £21 ISs; New Zealand, fair grade, £20 sh; fair current Manila, £21 Iss. Tho output from Manila for tho week was 28,000 bales. Kauri Gum. — Tho market is very quiet, nothing doing.
