[The Marquis of Hertford, Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire and A.D.O. to the King, was born in Dublin on 22nd October, 1843, educated at Sandhurst, and joined the Army and attained the rank of captain. He was Conservative M.P. for County Antrim from 1869 to 1874 and for South Warwickshire from 1874 to 1880. ' In 1879-1880 he was Comptroller of the Household. Homburg was appointed a Judge of the Supreme Court of South Australia in February, 1905. Born in Germany in 1848, he was called to the South Australian Bar in 1874. For about twenty-one years 'he was a member of the House ot Assembly, and was Attorney-General in the Playford, Downer, and Jenkins Ministeries.]
