The Frozen Meat Trade Association's Stnithiield market quotations for the undermentioned clawed of frozen moat , are based on actual sales of not less than one hundred carcases of mutton or lamb, or twonty-fiye quarters of boef of fair average quality. The quotations are not for selected lines, but for parcels fairly representative of tho bulk of the shipments now on the market. The pi ices which follow are on tho average a farthing per lb more than the values ex ship, this difference representing an average coefc in expenses, handling, conveyance, and selling the meat. New Zealand Sheep. — North Island 3sd; be3fc brands, 4d. New Zealand ewes, 3 l-16d. Now Zealand Lambs. — North Island, bid; selected brands, 5 5-16 d. New Zealand Beef. — Fores, 3sd; hinda, 4d. Australian Sheep. — Light, none offering; heavy, 3£d. Australian Ewes. — 3d. Australian Lambs. — Best brands, 4Jd; fair quality, 4£d; inferior quality, 4jd. Australian Beef.— Fores, 3d; hinds, 3 9-16 d. South American Sheep. — Light, none offering; heavy, 3§d. South American Lambs. — First quality, 4|d; second quality, 4|d. South American Beef. — Chilled fores, 3|d; hinds, sd. Prices of 'other meats unchanged. LONDON MARKETS. LONDON, 23rd March. New Zealand Hemp. — Tho market is quiet. March-May shipment is quoted at £21 15s per ton, a drop of 2s 6d on the week. Jute. — March-April shipment is IDs lower at £24 15s per ton. ' Copra'. — On a firm market bagged South Sea copra is 12b 6d higher at £24 17b 6d per ton. Cotton. — The; Liverpool quotation for American middling Upland cotton, March-April shipment, is 7£ points lower at 5.86 d per lb. Rubber. — Fine hard Para rubber is 4d higher at 5s 2d per lb. Australian Wheat. — Four Australian wheat cargoes have been sold at 38s, 38b lid, 38s od, aud 38s 4£d per quarter respectively. Hides. — The market is firm. Frozen Rabbits. — The market is flat. Best Sydneys, ex store, are quoted at 16s per orate ;" Victorians, 14s 6d.
