fBY. TELEGRAPH —VHBSS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, 22nd March. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Drug Company was held this afternoon, Mr. Wm. Brown (chairman of directors) presiding. The annual report stated that the net profit for the year was —x 9,201 17s, balance brought forward £7p27 19s 3d, total £26,329 16s 3d An interim dividend absorbed £7578 12s, leaving £18,781 4s 3d to be dealt with. The directors recommended the payment at 7 per cent, per annum for the second half of the past year, £7936 15s 7d; writing off Westfield plant (Auckland), £500 ; writing • off Wellington fixtures, £250; writing off Wellington building, £ioj- placing to the general reserve (this reserve, with £3750, to be transferred from share- premium account, will then stand at £38,000), £1250; and to carry forward to noxt year £8064 8s Bd. On the motion of the chairman, the report and balance-sheet were adopted. Dr. Ogston and Mr. W. F. Edmond were re-elected directors, and the auditoi'6 were re-appointed.'
