A PERFECT DAY.
I Despite a somewhat threatening dawn, which came in to-day with passing showers from the "South, Wellington has enjoyed an almost perfect day of bright skies and a, gentle southerly. The Dominion Meteorologist predicts a rising barometer and cool and changeable weather, with showers in parts.
