ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL. THISTLE CLUB.

The fifth annual meeting of the Thistle Association Football Club was held last oveiiiug. Mr. A. Dickson presided over a good attendance of members. The report showed that the team's play h.ad greatly improved, and they had gained third place in the senior championship. The balance-sheet showed the club to be in v sound financial position. The report showed that the A team had gone through the season without a loss, and thus won the cup- (Wednesday association). The B team also did well.
