ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL. THISTLE CLUB.
The fifth annual meeting of the Thistle Association Football Club was held last oveiiiug. Mr. A. Dickson presided over a good attendance of members. The report showed that the team's play h.ad greatly improved, and they had gained third place in the senior championship. The balance-sheet showed the club to be in v sound financial position. The report and balance-sheet wer« adopted The following persons wero thanked for assistance during the paat season : — Messrs. G. Stevens, C. Stevens, W. Stevens. A. In all probability second and fourth division teams will also be entered this season. HEARTS CLUB. ' The Hearts. Club hold its meeting in tho V.M.C.A. rooms last night. The report showed that the A team had gone through the season without a loss, and thus won the cup- (Wednesday association). The B team also did well.
