TO BE INTRODUCED BY U.S. DEMOCRATS. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright, WASHINGTON, 22nd March. It is understood the Democratic leaders will introduce a Wool Tariff Bill, levying a 20 per cent, ad valorem duty on raw wool. It will be identical with the measure passed by the Houbc of Reppresentativea last summer and vetoed by the President. ILast year the United States House of Representlfcives passed the Wool Tariff Revision Bill practically without amendment, the voting being : — For the Bill, 221; against, 100. The President was averse from any alteration, of the tariff pending the institution of a permanent Tariff Board. Congress nevertheless passed not only tho Bill mentioned but also Bills for revising the cotton duties and for the free importation of meat and flour from Canada. All theae measures were vetoed by Mr. Taft.]
