The Snaw-Savill steamer Bangatira will not come to Wellington direct) from Gisborne, but will now call at Picton to load for Home. She is due here about the middle of next week. THE ISLAND BOAT. At 7 o'clock on Thursday evening the Hauroto, from Suva, is due at Auckland. On the following Monday she is to discharge her Wellington cargo at this port, and she afterwards goe» to We&tport to take iv coal. STAR OF INDIA AT LONDON. The local agents of the Ty&er Line, Messrs. Bannatyne and Co., have been advised that the steamer Star of India,, which left W.ellington on 10th February, arrived at London on Thursday last, after a passage of 40 days. THE EVERTON GRANGE. { On the 22nd of next month the Federal-Houlder-Shire steamer Everton Grange is due at Waiitara from Brisbane. She commences Homeward loading on arrival, and from' tßat port she goes to Wanganui, Picton, and Wellington, at which latter port she is due on 29th April. The F.H.S. steamer Surrey, due at Wellington from Liverpool via way portß on 16th April, was originally fixed to leave Lyttelton for Avonmouth on 18th May. An alteration has been made in the timetable, and she will now leave on 23rd May. Wireless advice has been received stating that ithe Maheno expects to arrive at Auckland at 3 pjn. on Sunday. The Telegraph Office advises this morning: The Atheuic will be within wireless range during the day. The Maunganui, Victoria, and Maheno will be within, range to-night. The local wireless office yesterday received a message from the Maheno, now en route from Sydney to Auckland, saying that she would arrive at the latter port at about 3 pjn. on Sunday. At 3 o'clock on Monday afternoon the Union S.S. Co.'s Flora is to leave for New Plymouth from this port. She is due here to-morrow morning from Lyttelton. After calling at the Taranaki port, the vessel goes on to Westporb and Greymouth. Captain A. Wallis, late of the Navua, has replaced Captain R. Crawford, of the Atua, who has come ashore for orders. Mr. A. Piper, third officer of the Warrimoo, went ashore at Dunedin last trip on holiday leave, and Mr. H. Elder, of the Tarawera, took his place. The New Zealand Shipping Company's Otaki is due here to-morrow from Waibara, and on Wednesday next, she is to leave* for London. The cargo steamer Whangapa, left Lyttelton yesterday afternoon for Sydney with & shipment of stock for the coming show.
