LODGE MEETINGS.
At the fortnightly meeting of the Excelsior Lodge of Druide Bro. J. Gauutlett, A.D., presided. The receipts of the evening amounted to £48 3s 2d. Four new members Were initiated iuto the Order. Bro. Kirby, of the Reefton Ledge, attended as a visitor and was accorded a hearty welcome. It was decided to pay an official visit to the Pacific Lodge on Monday evening next. Bro. W. We&ton. 0.T., presided over a largo attendance of members and visitors at the weekly meeting of the Star of Wellington Lodge of Good Templars. One member was received on clearance card ceremony and several othe\s proposed. Bro. Atkinson, D.C.T., I was officially received. The secretary of the recent sale of work presented the report and balance-sheet, which showed a splendid credit balance. All those who nelped to make the i-ale of work such a success received a vote of thanks. The evening's programme was a ' guessing competition, which was won by Bro. Western. Sister Clark winning the booby prize. Next meeting will be an open one in charge of Bro. Wyso.
