For Pictoh, Blenheim, Haveloek, Nelson, Westport, Oreymouth, Reefton/ and Hokitika, per Araliurn, 11.50 a.m. For Southern Offices of New Zealand, per Mararoa, 7.45 p.m. The next best despatch for Continent of Eu< rope and United Kingdom will be v.ia Naples, closing at Wellington, per Warrimoo, Friday, 2nd February, at 3.30 p.m. The next beßt despatch for Canada, United States of America, Central America, and West Indies, wilt be via Earotonga, Tahiti, and Ban Francisco, closing at Wellington, per Aorangi, Friday, Oth February, at 8 p.m. All books and sample packets and newspapers for places within tho Dominion must be posted half an hour before the ordinary letter mail closea. < Money orders for abroad must be obtained two hours before the advertised time of closing mails. Unless otherwise specified, registered letter* and parcels-post packages must be handed in and money orders obtained one hour before the ordinary mail closes.
