EDUCATION BOARD.
It was decided at yesterday's meeting of the Education Board to carry out the following works :— -flutt : That the board pay half cost of improvements. Kilbimie : That the asphalting and grading of ground be completed, and' that pedestal be supplied. Mungaroa (application for increased . accommodation, school and residence) : That application j \)e referred' to the inspectors for report. Masterton : That arrangement • with contractor be approved. Th^ names of Edith A. Norman (Taranaki), - Gordon J. Caluion (Wanganui), William T. M'Caw (Wellington), and Wilhelmina Smylie (Wellington) have been added to the list- of students., admitted to the Training College. • The inspectors were, asked to report 1 on a petition for a school at Tawa. - An appointment was made in connection with the principalehip of the Training College, but it cannot be published, as the name has to be. submitted- to the .Minister.
