CIVIL ACTIONS.
COAL ACCOUNT. ■ ! Before Mr. A. Crooke, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday, "Samuel Brown, Ltd.,, coal merchants, Wellington, recovered £1 15e 9d from Leonard Webby, coal dealer, Eltham. The amount was for coal supplied. Mr. M. F. Luokie for plaintiff and Mr. G. Samuel for defendant. CLAIM AND COUNTER CLAIM. Edward Adams, driver, of Lloyd-street, claimed £4 6s 6d from Julius Lamberg, and Lamberg counter-claimed for £4 6a. Plaintiff's claim was for wages, and the counter-claim was for two weeks' rent of a house and two week*' rent in lieu of . notice. After hearing evidence, his Worship gave judgment for plaintiff on the claim for £1 lls 6d, and for Lamberg on the counter-claim for £1 lOe. Mr. A. H.
