A conference of delegates toth« New Zealand Athletic and Cycling Union was held at Hamilton last nigjht, Mr. Kennedy, president, in the chair. It was decided to severely censure the North Canterbury Centre for its action in not granting a permit to the Christchurch Cycle and Motor Club, and reqasfc that a duly-audited statement of the affaire of the Centre be presented to the council, or that affiliation b& cancelled. Twenty-eight days were allowed in which to comply with the conference's request. The conference unanimously confirmed the action of the president in granting a permit to the Chrktchurch Club for a meeting after it had been refused by North Canterbury. A further resolution was passed, giving the council power to suspend any centre or club not complying with an order or decision of the council. Blenheim was selected as the place for the championship meeting, and conference. Officer* were elected m follow : — Patron, jttr. G. W.
