AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
The Wellington Amateur Athletic Club will hold a sporta meeting oh the Basin Reserve to-morrow, commencing at 6.30 p.m., when the following events will bo run off :—44oyds: — 440 yds hurdles, 220 yds haudicap, otfe-mile run, and onemile walk. The following officials have been appointed to control the fixture : — Judges, W. F. Larkin, C. E. Bridge, and M. Burnett j timekeepers, J. H. and W. H. Polloqk and D. C. Bridge; walking judge, J. Ellis; marksmen, L. W. Cozens and A. Johnson') call stewards, H. Ur,quhart and F? Brace. The club has also decided to hold another evening meeting on the 6th March.
