WOOL SALES.
Messrs. Murray, Roberts 4 and Co., Ltd., have received, the following cablegram from their London friends, Messrs. Sanderson, Murray and Co., dated 27th inst. : —"The market is firm for best descriptions of # merino, but weaker and irregular for inferior merino wools. The- market is firm for crossbred wools suitable for Compared with last sales' closing rates (i there is no change in crossbred^ excepting those suiting American requirements. Crossbred scoured declined 5 per cent." Measre. Levin and Co., Ltd., have received cabled advice from their agents in London that the following clips have been sold oil their ot the 'sales now Current, the prices named being the j average price realised for the_ fleece wool in each instance: — Rocky Hill {Masterton), 9fd; Marahau (Wanganui), B^d; B diamond B (Featherston), 11 9-16 d.
