LETTERPRESS PRINTERS' MACHINISTS' UNION.
1 *> , .. Thß annual meeting of the above union was hDld in the Trades Hall on Saturday. Tho report and balance-sheet w«re adopted, and the officers oommendpd for their gopd management. AH the officers, were re-elected excepting three hoard members, ■ twq of whjom retired in order tq allow the lithographers to bo represented on tho board, Mr, A. J. Walsh and Mr. J. ■ Iswin being selected. Mr. B. Durnett was elected as the letterpreos board member. J The ballot taken on the puestion of alteration of the title of uniqn, etc, in order to. allow lithographers to become members, was carried. Tho board was instructed to further the federation schemes with allied trades as much as possible. The union decided to recommend to tho executive Mr. J. O'Connor as conduotor of the case for a Dominion .award, and Mr. T. Flynn (lithographer) was appointed assessor. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the president (Mr. E. M'Leary).
