FIRE AT NELSON.
f«i TSLIGRAPH— PCBBS ASSOCIATION.} NELSON, 27th January. A fire broke out about one o'clock this afternoon in the boilerhpuse- at Messrs. Griffin and Sons' biscuit factory, and rapidly spread to the boiling department, where it was confined by the efforts of the fire brigade. The machinery was not seriously injured, but a portion of the building was considerably damaged, and this will necessitate a stoppage of work for a few days. . The insurances total £14,750 in various offices.
