Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report ! on their fortnightly stock sale, held at the Upper Hutt on Thursday, as follows :—-vVb: — -vVb had a full yarding of sheep and a fair entry of cattle. Bidding for I the sheep was a bit slow at the start, but we have to report having practically made a total clearance of the yards afterwards. The following wore prices realised : — Fat wethers to 14s 3d, I wethers 7s Id, 11s to 12s 7d, ewes 9s and 9s Id, fat lambs 11s, lambs 7s Bd, 7s lOd to Bs, culk 3s ; 2£ to 4-year steers £3 19s, £4 10s to £5 2s, fat cows to £5 12s 6d, springing heifers £6 11b, ,£6 15s. to £7 ss, springing cows to £8, cows in milk £3 7s, £3 Bs, £5 5s to £7 7s 6d, cows and calves to £6 2s, bulls £2 10s to £3 3e.
