The band contest was resumed in the Olympia Rink to-day, when the following were the results: — , G Trombone Solo— J. Dixon (Kaikorai), 70; W. Bwbuah (Wanganui Garrison). 60; J. Canty (Mornington), 57; G. Lauri (Woolstoii), 54. B Flat Trombone Solo— J. Glennie, fun. (Wellington Garrison), 85; W. Lanham (Woolston). 76: S. Walling (Wellington Garrison). 70; E. C. Ward (Stanmore), 65; A. Wills (Hibernian), 63; J. Congalton (Mornington), 62; N. Turner (Linwood), 60 ; S. -Donaldson (Wellington), 59; T. Gorst (Lyttellon Marine), 58.
