The safe is placed in a cabin scarcely -bigger than a bathing machine, admission to which will be refused to all except the King 1 and Queen. The name of the Keeper of the Crown Jewels (Mr. Bell) is inscribed above the door. In the corner this massive black steel safe stands in bold relief against the white painted walls. Here will be kept during the voyage the crown, which the' King will wear as the Emperor of India. An armed marine will be outside the cabin day and night.
