MAITAt FOR SAN FRANCIBCO. The principal lines of cargo being shipped to San Francisco to-day by the Maitai comprised 5200 boxes- of butter and 250 baleg flax. The vessel js also taking about 20 tons of general cargo for the Californian port, 100 tons for Rarotonga. and 30 tons for Tahiti. She is heavily laden with bunker coal, and has several hundred tons of Sydney cargo aboard. San Francisco should be reached on the let February. The coastal steamer Tainul will b$ at Wellingtoh on Monday from Waitara. Bhe satis the same day on the return trip. The Rosamond arrived afc Onehunga' at 6.30 o'clock this morning, and i* timed to sail again for New Plymouth and Wellington at 2 p.m. The Flora left Dunedin at, 3 p.m. yesterday for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington She will sail from here at noon on Monday for Picton and West Coast. The Mapourika arrived at Westport at 9-p m. yesterday from Greymouth. She was to sail at 2 p.m. to-day for Nelson anff Wellington. The Waverley is due here from Wanganut on Sunday. She, should sail on Monday for Nelson and Coast. . The" Clan Macaulay left Port Pirie yeisterday for London.
