So far no intimation has been made regardings the findings of the commission which sat in November to determine what contribution, if any, the Pohangina County Council should make towards the cost of the erection of a bridge over the Oroua River at Menzies Ford. The county councils involved are anxiously awaiting receipt of the report of the commission. - Saturday was the hottest day experi* enoed for more than twelve months in Southland.
