Sir Joseph Ward will leave for Taupo either on Saturday or Monday. Mr. John Duthie, jun., was a passenger by the Moeraki from Sydney yesterday. Mr. M. Myers, of the legal firm of Bell, Gully, Bell, and Myers, returned from England, via Sydney, yesterday. Mr. W. 1 J. Gardner, chief clerk to the Lower Hutfc Borough Council, returned yetterday from a three weeks' holiday trip to Sydney. Mr. A. Macintosh,, manager of Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., who has been on a trip to England, returned to New Zealand, via Sydney, yesterday.
