SUMMER FRUIT.
[BX TELEGRAPH — SPECIAL TO THE POST.] AUCKLAND, This Day. A good variety of 6ummer fruit is now on sale in Auckland. The supply is greater than at this time last year, and prices generally are lower. Large quantities of apricots, peaches, and plums are coming to hand, and on Tuesday last the first nectarines of the'seaeon were received. Nectarines are now commanding good prices, but it in expected that the supply of this fruit will considerably increase during the next week or two, with a consequent fall in price. Other fruits on tho market at present are grapes, tomatoes, apples (iv «mali supply), and a few early pears. The strawoerry season is now drawing to a close.
