At the- Magistrate's Court, a woman named Thomason, wife of a. publican, was fined 5s for throwing an egg 'on to the dre66 of a No-license advocate at a street meeting preceding the elections. She pleaded that she threw the egg at a heckler, but that it accidentally struck a temperance advocate 1 .
