fBX TELKCBAPH — PBESS ASSOCIATION.] TEVMBU, This Day. The trade returns at Timaru for the years just closed exceeded those of any previous year. Merchancjise dealt with amounted to 185,182 tons, while 699,140 carcases of frozen mutton, 41,449 bales wool, and 456,299 bushels of grain were exported. Shipping dues amounted' to £27,844, being higher than those of any previous year. The total revenue amounted to £37,519.
