Mornard, Belgium Director of Costomß, has been appointed Provisional Treasurer-General of Persia with 9. comtniision consisting of four Persians. Reuter reports that the Russians at Tabriz court-martialled and executed Davafauruah,^ Chief ot the Fidai, a military organisation, also Mohamed Khan., a Fidai leader, and the two joint editors of a revolutionary paper. Davafaurush's house was blown up.
