MR. MASSEY QUESTIONED.

Questioned this evening, tho Leader of the Opposition (Mr. Massey) said that he was pleased that Parliament was at la«t to meet, but he was of opinion that it should have met at an earlier date. The laet election was the most important in twerity years, and he thought that Sir Joseph Ward and^ his collsagTies would have done the right thing had they advised the Governor* to convene Parliament before the end of the present monKh. If an election became necessary, it would be on account of attempts being made to interfere with 'the will of tha people a^ expressed at the pulls.
