SHORTT'S THEATRE.
Shortt's all-day pictures at the New Theatre in Willis-street continue to be as pop,ular as ever, all. seeeions being largely attended. The historical tableaux of Robert Bruce, showing .his struggles against the English for his throne, and the devotion of his folloVers, are received with acclamation every time they are shown. Some magnificent scenes from Niagara, its falls and its rapids, are also < screened, c the pictures being remarkable for their clearness and beauty. _ The disappearance of the famous picture, La Giaconda> from the Louvre is the peg upon which a funny story, told in pictures, is hung. "The .Miser and the Thieves" is another acceptable comic picture in the programme. Some very beautiful scenes in the Australian! Tyrol are included in the scenic pictures, which, taken as a whole, form a most entertaining exhibition of the latest moving pictures.
