LYALL BAY SURF CLUB.
Mr. J. F. Atkins presided over last night's meeting of the Lyall Bay Surf Club. It was reported that a credit balance of £50 resulted from the recent benefit night at The King's Theatre. The visiting Australian athletes were invited to use the club's shed at the Bay during the sojourn in Wellington. Teams for duty on the beach during tho following holidays were cho&en as under: — ' . | Saturday, 23rd December— Messrs. Read, J. Stratford, V. Stratford. Forth, Hollis, O'Elaherty, and MDougall. Sunday, 24th December — Messrs. Morpeth, Power, Butler, Beyer, O'Flaherty, Levy, Stratford (2), R. Russell, and J. Blennerhassett. Monday (Christmas Day) — Messrs. Beyer, Russell (3), O'Flaherfcy, Levy, Morpeth. Read, and Hollis. Tuesday (Boxing Day) — Messrs. Beyer, Russell (3), Morpeth, Stratford (2), Read, Butler, Hollis, and M'Dougall.
