METHODIST SYNOD.
AUCKLAND, 17th November. The Auckland Methodist Synod re-> ferred the Bible-in-Schools question to the forthcoming . conference for the united decision of the Methodist Church. A resolution was passed calling upon members 'aud adherents ta combat the liquor traffic and strive for the abolition of the totalisator.
