The club affiliated with the Wellington Centre, and took part in the pennant, matches, Edwin feathers, and junior stars. The club wae represented, by one rink at the centre tournament, and two rinks at both the NeWi and Otaki tournaments. The social evenings during the winter months are reeulting satisfactorily, both from social and financial standpoints. The directors were greatly hampered through shortness of funds, and found it necc*« ea.ry to appeal to members for donations tt> enable them to ca.rry on— -twenty. eight members contributed £26 lie. The thanks of the club are due tb the ladiw( lot donating an amount sufficient to defray the cost of doing up the lower grwn j to the ladies' committee for arranging Social evening ; to Mrs. Cameron for presenting the club flag ; to Mjb, Pago fnr ehrube ; to Mr. Kirkcaldie for a. garden scat, picture, water fitting--?, «nd shrubs ; to Mr. Willans for a table ; to Mr, Vincent, who defrayed the cost oi lamps for the pavilion \ to Mr. Meek for preparing the plans of the pavilion j to Mr. Crump for supervising building operations ; to Mi\ J. A. Phmmer for contributing £5 towards cost of oflkial opening and for presentation of ladicfi' pavilion s and to Mr. M. C. Smith fon again taking the levele. During the ye*r ten new members were elected, six members were struck off the books and their arrears written > off, cix members resigned, ihe time limit for forfeiture of three of thp laltw'e -shave has beeh ex» tended. The membership totals feixty, tinder the articles of association, Meaere, Stafford, Crump. a.nd Wil!n.n* retire. A fourth vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr, Batham will also require to be tilled.
