INVERCARGILL, 11th September. About 11.45 thra morning Albert Sinw, Aged 26, one of a. prison gang working near the jetty, a*ked the warder to allow him to viiat a shed in the vicinity, and was allowed to do so. . Owing to the man's extended absence, the -warder visited the ahed, and found that the prisoner had gone, having changed into old clothes that had been hanging in the «hed. A bicycle, which had been standing near by the building, was missing, and it k supposed that the prisoner made off on it. Sims, who had been an industrial school boy, wae serving seven years.
