PERSECUTION BY CAMERA.
Whether it is a sign of popularity of not is a matter for conjecture, but the present King and the Royal Family have been positively persecuted by phd'tographeM. Though for the last fifteen months they have been continually in the public gaze there is no abatement of the nuisance. , Wherever they go they are simply surrounded by camera fiends, Eyen on the Royal yacht at Cowes. whither they have gone as a. sort of relaxation from the longjround Of ceremonies, they ate not secure. Launches with cameras hover about continuously. It has been given out unofficially that the King regards this con tinual prying^ as misconduct^ but it still continues. Xeeterday some enterprising photographers endeavoured to "get" the King and the Prince of Wales while bathing.
