MAORI ENTERTAINMENT.
Taking advantage of the presence of several Maori leaders being in Wellington a- number of ladies who are interested in Maori work have arranged an entertainment in aid of the Victoria Maori Girls' School in Auckland. Hon. Sir .Jamen. Catfioll!, JK.C,M.Ci., will speak on "The Past of the Maori." Dr. To Eattgihiroa. . on "The Present," and Ho*. A. T. Ngata on "The Future." Mrs. Pitt will aing "Home Sweet Home" in Maori arid Mr. JE. 3, Hill will stng "Wniata Poi." A party of Maoris will contribute a programme of hakns, war dances, laments, and fongs.
