The race between Ernest, Baity nnd William Fogwell for the sculling cham-? pionship of England was rowed to-day over* the championship course, from Putney to Mortlake. Fogwell led to Harrod'e, where Basry;overhauled him, and, maintaining hisad\antage to the end, eventually woa by four lengths.
