The president of the Municipal Co«n« cil'has conferred with tho Caterers' Union and arranged a table of market prices to be drawn up daily and rigidly enforced. The Rentpayers' Association^ which has five thousand members, annormces a strike against the threatened rise in rents in Paris. The first step is a refusal to pay rent ih advance, The situation at Roubaix continue* to be serious. The rioters have looted the provision shops, and have erected barri' cades and stretched wire across the streets to trip up the cavnlry. | Members of the crowd also climbed lamp post* and extinguished the light*, while others removed the plates cover' ing the manholes and drains so as to prevent the soldiers from charging. Many arrests have been made. mini' bers of soldiers were injured by the stone-throwing. ,
